The Coconut Republic® Coconut Aminos Seasoning is a soy-free (non-soy) seasoning sauce made from organic-certified coconut sap, which comes right out of the coconut flowers, blended with mineral-rich sea salt, and carefully aged herbs and spices. When the coconut flowers are tapped, it produces a highly nutrient-rich “sap” that has a very low glycemic index.
The young sap does not give this sauce any coconutty taste.
Aminos refer to “amino acids”. Unlike most soy-based sauces filled with GMO soybeans (and even organic soybeans that cause allergies), Coconut Republic® Coconut Aminos Seasoning is filled with a higher source of amino acids, minerals, vitamin C, and broad-spectrum B vitamins. It has at least 50% to 65% lower sodium content than “soy-based” sauces. It registers nearly neutral pH. It does not taste like coconut. Definitely, diabetic-friendly.
